We start with the basics in the first week and move onto more complex things such as truing wheels, adjusting your derailleurs, and troubleshooting those mysterious noises you hear when you ride.

Class Schedule 2025

We will host a series of weekly mechanics classes throughout the spring, summer, and fall, open to the public and free to anyone who wishes to attend. The goal is to teach people how to properly fix and maintain their bicycles, thereby allowing them to stay on the road. Classes will focus on problems most often encountered including fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes and derailleurs, proper maintenance and servicing of internal bearings and road safety.

This year we will be hosting 2 Sessions Spring/Summer and Fall. Each session will be 7 weeks. Classes each week will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6pm to 8pm. (you can attend Tuesday or Thursday both days cover the same topic) Each week will cover a different topic. Once the curriculum is complete, we will publish it in the link above. Classes for the spring/summer session will be held from May 20th to July 3rd. The Fall session will be held from August 19th to October 2nd. You don’t need to sign up to attend but if you are interested in attending, please fill out the form below.
